From the very first conversation with the future residents of Casa Pinheiros, it was clear that the project's intention was to preserve the original elements of the house while harmonizing them with contemporary interventions to create a dialogue between different eras. This goal is reflected in various choices, particularly the yellow hydraulic tile flooring, framed by a strip of the same material that runs along almost the entire perimeter of the ground floor.
